Dog Day Afternoon

Dog Day Afternoon brings the tension of 1972 New York City to the stage in a gripping new adaptation written by Stephen Adly Guirgis and directed by Rupert Goold, inspired by the classic Sidney Lumet film. Jon Bernthal and Ebon Moss-Bachrach take on the roles of Sonny and Sal, two desperate men whose attempted bank robbery spirals into a media spectacle. The production plays at the August Wilson Theatre and unites a Pulitzer Prize–winning playwright with a two-time Olivier Award–winning director. Giant at the Music Box Theatre

Giant

Giant arrives at the Music Box Theatre following its acclaimed West End run, bringing Mark Rosenblatt’s gripping drama to Broadway under the direction of Nicholas Hytner. The Fear of 13

The Fear of 13 arrives at Broadway’s James Earl Jones Theatre following a hit run on London’s West End. Written by Lindsey Ferrentino and directed by David Cromer, this gripping new play stars Adrien Brody in his Broadway debut opposite Tessa Thompson, both reprising their performances. The drama examines justice, doubt, and the human cost of a broken system. The Rocky Horror Show

The Rocky Horror Show brings its cult-classic thrills to Studio 54 in a bold new staging directed by Sam Pinkleton, with book, music, and lyrics by Richard O’Brien. Beaches, A New Musical

Joe Turner’s Come and Gone

Joe Turner’s Come and Gone brings August Wilson’s powerful drama to the Barrymore Theatre in a new staging directed by Debbie Allen and starring Taraji P. Henson and Cedric the Entertainer. Set in 1911 Pittsburgh at a Black boardinghouse run by Seth and Bertha, the play centers on a mysterious lodger and his daughter whose arrival stirs long-buried pain and hope among the residents. One of Wilson’s most celebrated works in his American Century Cycle, the story explores identity, migration, and the search for belonging in the years after emancipation.

The Balusters brings suburban satire to the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre in a new play by David Lindsay-Abaire, directed by Kenny Leon.
