Broadway Gift Cards: A Shopper's Guide

How much can I put on the card? Telecharge gift cards can be purchased in any amount from $25 to $500. 

How does it work? Cards can be purchased one at a time online, or multiple cards can be purchased by calling 1-800-447-7400. The recipient can redeem the gift card online, on the phone, or in person. 

Is it a physical card or an e-card? Either! A physical card will take around three (3) days to be delivered, or it can be delivered immediately as an e-card. 

How do I check the balance? Enter the 15-digit card number on the website or by calling 888-303-1175.

What if it gets lost? If a card is lost or stolen, contact Telecharge Customer Service at tickets@telecharge.com

What theaters participate? Participating venues include the Ambassador, Barrymore, Belasco, Booth, Broadhurst, Broadway, Circle in the Square, Forrest, Friedman, Golden, Imperial, Jacobs, Jones, Lincoln Center Theater, Longacre, Lyceum, Majestic, Music Box, New World Stages, Schoenfeld, Shubert, Stage 42, Westside, and Winter Garden. 

Will it expire? No. Telecharge gift cards have no expiration date. 

How much can I put on the card? Ticketmaster gift cards can be purchased in any amount from $25 to $500. 

How does it work? Gift cards can be purchased online with a US or CA credit card. When checking out, the recipient will select “Add Credits / Promo Code / Gift Cards” in the Payment section and enter their gift card number. Note that the card cannot be used for MLB or Fan-to-Fan resale tickets, but can be used for tickets to theatre, comedy, family shows, and more, as well as for parking, VIP packages, and select merchandise. 

Is it a physical card or an e-card? Either! E-cards can be delivered immediately or on any date of the purchaser’s choosing. 

How do I check the balance? Check the balance on the website. The recipient will need to log into a Ticketmaster account or create one if they don’t already have one. 

What if it gets lost? Lost or stolen gift cards are not replaceable.

Will it expire? No. Ticketmaster gift cards have no expiration date. 

How much can I put on the card? TKTS Gift Certificates are available in denominations of $25, $50, $100, and $150.

How does it work? This gift certificate can be purchased online and works like cash at the TKTS Booths in Times Square and Lincoln Center. They can be used to get tickets to same-day or next-day matinee Broadway and Off-Broadway shows and the booths include a variety of discount offerings that can stretch your gift card even further. Note that these certificates are redeemable only in-person at TKTS Tickets Booths. 

Is it a physical card or an e-card? TKTS sends physical certificates, so allow enough time for shipping. 

TDF Gift memberships: You can also give the gift of a TDF membership – this allows the recipient to purchase a variety of discounted tickets throughout the year. This is only open to specific groups of people, so check online to see if the recipient qualifies before purchasing. 

Will it expire? No. TKTS gift certificates never expire. 

How much can I put on the card? Broadway.com Gift Cards can be purchased in any amount between $25 and $1,500.

How does it work? Gift cards can be purchased online, and recipients can use them to purchase tickets for any Broadway or off-Broadway show in New York City that is sold on Broadway.com. Note that Broadway.com is a secondary ticket agent and may include a large service fee. 

Is it a physical card or an e-card? Gift cards are sent via e-mail. 

How do I check the balance? Check the balance by entering the card number online. 

What if it gets lost? Lost or stolen gift certificates will not be replaced. 

Will it expire? No. Broadway.com gift cards have no expiration date. 

How much can I put on the card? TodayTix Digital Gift Cards can be purchased in amounts from $10 to $500.

How does it work? TodayTix gift cards can be purchased online and can be used to buy tickets to shows all across the country. Digital gift cards apply only to US-based shows – there is a different gift card available for purchase that applies to shows in London. Gift cards can be redeemed at checkout by clicking “add voucher code.”

Is it a physical card or an e-card? No physical cards will be sent, instead recipients will receive a unique digital gift card code. 

What if it gets lost? Gift Cards are non-refundable. 

Will it expire? No. TodayTix digital gift cards have no expiration date. 

How much can I put on the card? Disney Gift Cards can be purchased in amounts from $25 to $500.

How does it work? Gift cards can be purchased online and redeemed for Disney shows like Aladdin and The Lion King. Recipients can redeem by filling out this online form or by going in-person to the Broadway theatre box office at the New Amsterdam Theatre, located at 214 W. 42^nd Street. Note the gift cards cannot be used for touring shows, international shows, concessions, or for The Lion King merchandise.

Is it a physical card or an e-card? Physical cards will be shipped, so allow enough time for delivery. Expedited shipping is available.

How much can I put on the card? Broadway Roulette Digital Gift Cards can be purchased in increments of $25 up to $250, or in a different amount of your choosing. 

How does it work? Gift cards can be purchased online, and the lucky recipient just has to pick a date they want to see a show, spin the virtual wheel, and they’ll be surprised with tickets to an amazing show. Seat location is at the sole discretion of the box office. 

Is it a physical card or an e-card? Gift Cards are only delivered digitally.
