The Lyric Theatre opened in 1998 and is operated by the Ambassador Theatre Group (ATG). It was built by combining two prior theaters, the Lyric Theatre and the Apollo Theatre, and it is currently home to the play Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. Recent productions include On the Town, Spiderman: Turn Off the Dark, Young Frankenstein, Jesus Christ Superstar, and Ragtime.

Some people dress up for the theater, but there is no official dress code. Children under 4 are not permitted in the theater.
