Based on S.E. Hinton’s novel and Francis Ford Coppola’s iconic film, The Outsiders brings the streets of 1967 Tulsa, Oklahoma, to the Broadway stage. The musical follows Ponyboy Curtis and his best friend Johnny Cade and their family of greasers as they navigate growing up, self-discovery, and their battle with their affluent rivals, the Socs.

The show features a book by Adam Rapp with Justin Levine, music and lyrics by Jamestown Revival (Jonathan Clay & Zach Chance) and Justin Levine. Justin Levine also serves as music supervisor, orchestrator, and arranger. The Outsiders is directed by Danya Taymor, who received the Tony Award for Best Direction of a Musical for the show, and features choreography by Rick Kuperman & Jeff Kuperman. Tulsa, Oklahoma, is brought to life on stage by a design team including scenic design by AMP featuring Tatiana Kahvegian, costume design by Sarafina Bush, lighting design by Brian MacDevitt, and sound design by Cody Spencer.
