Experience The Notebook on Broadway! This musical adaptation of Nicholas Sparks' best-selling novel—which was also adapted into the beloved film starring Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gosling—has captured the hearts of audiences with its timeless love story and beautiful score.
Set in the American South, The Notebook follows the lifelong romance of Allie Hamilton and Noah Calhoun, who come from different worlds but find each other in a love story that transcends social and economic differences and spans decades, with three actors playing Noah and Allie throughout their lives—from their youth to their elder years. With so much keeping them apart—war, illness, and societal expectations—can their love stand the test of time?
The musical features a book by Bekah Brunstetter and music & lyrics by Ingrid Michaelson. Co-directed by Schele Williams and five-time Tony Award nominee Michael Grief, The Notebook features choreography by Katie Spelman, set design by David Zinn and Brett J. Banakis, costume design by Paloma Young, lighting design by Ben Stanton, and sound design by Nevin Steinberg.
