Not only are the lottery tickets incredibly affordable but winners will find themselves enveloped in the heat of the action with front row orchestra seats (with a possibility of an obstructed view, depending on availability).

How to Enter a Lottery for Hamilton Tickets

If you would like to take your shot at a $10 ticket with Ham4Ham, read the instructions below to learn how to enter the digital lottery:

  1. First navigate to https://hamiltonmusical.com/us-tour/lottery/ to learn details about how it works.

  2. You will either need to download the Hamilton app or visit Lucky Seat to enter online. Both require that you create an account, which will entail providing your first and last name, email, phone number, postal code, and birthdate (on the app) before you will be asked to create and confirm a password..

  3. You will select a date for the upcoming week as the lottery opens every Friday at 10am and closes at 12pm the next Thursday prior to the following week’s performances. You will be limited to one entry per person and limited to two tickets per winner. No payment is required to enter.

  4. Notification of wins or losses will occur between 12pm and 4pm every Thursday for the upcoming week’s performances either by email or mobile push notification.

  5. If you are a winner, you will have 2 hours to claim and purchase up to two tickets online or through the app.

  6. You will be able to pick up your lottery tickets at the Richard Rodgers Theatre box office at will call 2 hours before the performance with a valid photo ID that matches the winner’s account information.

Note: You need to be at least 18 years old to enter the lottery. The recommended age for the show is 10+ due to the strong language used throughout the show. Children under 5 are not permitted in the theater. 

Other Ways to Get Tickets to Hamilton the Musical

If the lottery doesn’t pan out or you prefer to have your tickets secured further in advance, you may also purchase your tickets online or in-person at the Richard Rodgers Theatre box office. If you are planning to attend the show with a group of ten people or more, group tickets are another great option to get you in the room where it happens.
