There are a few different ways that this will be offered, depending on the production, including a digital lottery, rush tickets, and standing room. Their names are generally suggestive of how they function, whether that be by entering a drawing online or waking up early to wait in line at the theater itself. Often these tickets will get you access to last minute seats, partial view seats, or in some instances some of the best seats in the house for a fraction of the price.

How to Enter a Lottery for Moulin Rouge Tickets

If you’d like to try your luck in the digital lottery for a spectacular night at the Al Hirschfeld Theater, you’ll follow the steps below:

You will first navigate to https://www.luckyseat.com/shows/moulinrouge!the musical-new york. Various platforms like Lucky Seat, TodayTix, Broadway Direct, and Rush Telecharge are used by Broadway shows to facilitate the popular Broadway lotteries, so no need for concern when you’re directed away from the Moulin Rouge website.
You will be asked to either login or sign-up for an account to enter the lottery. To create an account you will need to confirm that you are over 18 years old and provide your first and last name, email, phone number, zip code, and country. You have the option to request text notifications, but you will be required to accept the terms and conditions before you continue.
Next you will select the performance dates that you would like to enter the drawing for, you’ll have the ability to select multiple dates at once.
At the bottom of the page, you will use the toggle to indicate how many tickets you are entering to win. The limit for lottery tickets to Moulin Rouge is two per entry. Note that pairs are not guaranteed to be seated beside each other should you win.
Check the box confirming that you are not a robot and submit!
If you are selected, you will be notified by email and SMS text notification (if you give permission), which will include your deadline to claim your tickets.
