It's a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play Broadway Tickets

It's a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play brings the beloved holiday story to Broadway for a limited engagement at the Broadhurst Theatre. Rather than recreating every scene of the 1946 film on a conventional set, the production invites the audience into a 1940s radio studio. A small acting company, live sound effects and seasonal music tell the story of George Bailey, a man who discovers how much his life has mattered to the people around him. Previews begin November 4, 2026, ahead of the November 18 opening, and the run concludes January 3, 2027.

Andrew Rannells plays George Bailey, Megan Hilty plays Mary Bailey, Tituss Burgess portrays Clarence and other characters, Harry Hamlin plays Mr. Potter and others, and Lisa Rinna plays Violet and others. Joe Landry adapted the stage play from the story The Greatest Gift by Philip Van Doren Stern, and Jerry Zaks directs. The creative team includes scenic and costume designer Santo Loquasto, lighting designer Kenneth Posner, sound designer Palmer Hefferan, and musical director Andy Einhorn.

The production runs approximately 90 minutes without an intermission and is recommended for ages five and older. Megan Hilty is currently scheduled to miss performances on November 6, December 3–6, and December 18–20; check casting for a specific performance before purchasing tickets.
