Carnegie Hall is located at 881 7th Avenue and first opened in New York City in 1891. It has since taken on a legendary status, presenting world-class music programming and performances all year round. The building includes three venues – Stern Auditorium, Zankel Hall, and Weill Recital Hall – as well as a museum and gift shop, and tours are offered six days a week. It is close to attractions like Central Park, Rockefeller Center, New York City Center, Times Square, and Columbus Circle. Carnegie Diner & Café is located at 205 West 57th Street near 7th Avenue. Open 7am – 12am Sunday – Thursday and 7am – 1am Fridays and Saturdays, this restaurant serves diner comfort food classics like burgers and pancakes as well as cocktails, all-day breakfast and brunch, and a pre-theater menu. Redeye Grill is an American restaurant located right across the street from Carnegie Hall at 890 7th Avenue. Open from 12pm – 9pm Sunday – Thursday and from 12pm – 10pm Friday and Saturday, this restaurant is known for upscale seafood and cocktails. Reservations available.

Trattoria Dell’Arte is an Italian restaurant located at 900 7th Avenue. Open from 12pm – 11pm Tuesday – Saturday and from 12pm – 10pm Saturday and Sunday, this restaurant is known for its antipasto bar, seafood, and Italian dishes. Reservations recommended.

burger joint is a cash-only burger place hidden inside the Thompson Central Park Hyatt Hotel on 119 W. 56th Street. In the lobby, look for a curtain and a neon sign of a burger. Open daily from 11am – 11pm, and does not take reservations.

Angelo’s Coal Oven Pizzeria

Angelo’s Coal Oven Pizzeria is an Italian restaurant located at 117 W. 57th Street. Angelo’s is open daily from 11:30am – 10pm and serves pastas, salads, calzones, and pizza by the pie. For reservations, call 212-333-4333.

Loi Estiatorio

Loi Estiatorio is a Greek restaurant located at 132 W. 58th Street that specializes in traditional Greek seafood. Open from 12pm – 10pm Monday – Friday, and 3pm – 10pm on Saturday. The a la carte menu offers vegetarian, dairy free, gluten free, and vegan options.

Halal Guys is a famous street cart located at 6th Avenue and 53rd Street and serving gyros, falafel, hummus, baba ghanoush, and more. Open from 11am – 4am Sunday – Thursday and from 11am – 5:30am Friday and Saturday, this is the perfect grab-and-go option before a show.

The Carnegie Club is a cigar lounge located at 156 W. 56th Street. Open from 2pm – 1am Tuesday – Friday, from 2pm – 2am on Saturday, and 2pm – 12am on Sunday and Monday, this club features live music and has a wide selection of cigars and scotch.

PJ Carney’s

PJ Carney’s is an Irish Pub located at 906 Seventh Avenue near 57th Street that serves traditional pub food, beer and liquor. Open 10:30am – 4am Monday – Saturday and from 10:30am – 3am on Sundays. Does not accept reservations.

All and sundry is a tavern located at 312 W. 58th Street and open from 12pm – 2am Monday – Thursday, 12pm – 4am Friday, 11am – 4am Saturday, and 11am – 2am Sunday. Their daily happy hour from 12pm – 7pm includes discounted champagne and blue point oysters.
