Hold Fast is an American restaurant located at 364 W. 46th Street, open 12pm – 2am Monday to Friday and 11am – 2am Saturday and Sunday. Expect good food, fresh tacos, and tasty drinks. Casual and relaxed, with a great brunch too!

Joe Allen

Joe Allen is an American restaurant located at 326 W. 46th Street. Open from 12:00pm to 11:30pm Tuesday, 11:30am to 11:30pm Wednesday and Saturday, 12:00pm to 11:30pm Thursday and Friday, 11:30am to 10:30pm Sunday, and closed Mondays. This is a popular pre-show dining spot among the theater crowd, so reservations are recommended. The restaurant serves comfort food and great cocktails, and the walls are covered in posters of Broadway flops.

Don’t Tell Mama is an American restaurant located at 343 W. 46th Street. Open from 5pm – 2:30am Sunday to Thursday, 5pm – 3:30am Friday and Saturday. This piano bar also has two cabaret showrooms and a restaurant and spaces can be rented for private events. The name “Don’t Tell Mama” comes from the song of the same name from the musical Cabaret.

“Probably my favorite stop on my New York trip that I accidentally found! The service was great and they did it all while singing and putting on a show! We tried the pretzel which was SO soft. A must see place for sure!” – Penny J.

Bareburger is an American restaurant located at 366 W. 46th Street serving burgers, chicken sandwiches, and vegan options. Open 12pm – 10pm Sunday to Thursday, 12pm – 12am Friday and Saturday. In addition to more traditional offerings, they also serve more unique burgers like bison and elk. Bareburger does not take reservations.

“Awesome black bean and Veggie burger (the sunshine) for vegetarians! The best black bean burger I have ever had. But the meat eaters were impressed with beef and bison sliders. It was rounded out w onion rings and fries.” - Grommesh

The Ritz Bar & Lounge is a nautical-themed bar located at 369 W. 46th Street. Open from 4pm – 4am daily, this gay bar has two floors, DJs, and two spacious patios.

Bar Centrale

Bar Centrale is located near the theater district at 324 W. 46th Street. Open 5pm – 11:30pm Tuesday to Saturday and 5:00pm to 11:30pm Sunday and Monday. This speakeasy-style bar is located in a converted brownstone and is popular with theater lovers as well as Broadway stars.

Le Rivage is a French restaurant located at 340 W. 46th Street; open from 11:30am - 11pm Sunday and Tuesday - Thursday, 11:30am – 12am Friday and Saturday, and from 3:30pm – 11pm Monday. They specialize in classic French dishes and feature live music. Eat in the cozy, romantic space indoors or on their outdoor patio.

“This is my favorite pre-theatre restaurant by far. The prix fixe is so varied and there are so many excellent choices. The food is delicious and portions are great. Drinks are pretty good, and desserts delectable.” – C J.
