Hold Fast is an American restaurant located at 364 W. 46th Street, open 12pm – 2am Monday to Friday and 11am – 2am Saturday and Sunday. Expect good food, fresh tacos, and tasty drinks. Casual and relaxed, with a great brunch too!

Joe Allen

Joe Allen is an American restaurant located at 326 W. 46th Street. Open from 12:00pm to 11:30pm Tuesday, 11:30am to 11:30pm Wednesday and Saturday, 12:00pm to 11:30pm Thursday and Friday, 11:30am to 10:30pm Sunday, and closed Mondays. This is a popular pre-show dining spot among the theater crowd, so reservations are recommended. The restaurant serves comfort food and great cocktails, and the walls are covered in posters of Broadway flops.

Swing46 Jazz Club

Swing 46 is an American restaurant located at 349 W. 46th Street. Open from 5:00pm to 12am Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, 5:00pm to 1am Friday and Saturday, and closed Monday. This jazz and supper club has live music and swing dancing.

Don’t Tell Mama

Don’t Tell Mama is an American restaurant located at 343 W. 46th Street. Open from 5pm – 2:30am Sunday to Thursday, 5pm – 3:30am Friday and Saturday. This piano bar also has two cabaret showrooms and a restaurant and spaces can be rented for private events. The name “Don’t Tell Mama” comes from the song of the same name from the musical Cabaret.

“Probably my favorite stop on my New York trip that I accidentally found! The service was great and they did it all while singing and putting on a show! We tried the pretzel which was SO soft. A must see place for sure!” – Penny J.  



Bareburger is an American restaurant located at 366 W. 46th Street serving burgers, chicken sandwiches, and vegan options. Open 12pm – 10pm Sunday to Thursday, 12pm – 12am Friday and Saturday. In addition to more traditional offerings, they also serve more unique burgers like bison and elk. Bareburger does not take reservations.

“Awesome black bean and Veggie burger (the sunshine) for vegetarians! The best black bean burger I have ever had. But the meat eaters were impressed with beef and bison sliders. It was rounded out w onion rings and fries.” - Grommesh

The Ritz Bar & Lounge

The Ritz Bar & Lounge is a nautical-themed bar located at 369 W. 46th Street. Open from 4pm – 4am daily, this gay bar has two floors, DJs, and two spacious patios.

“The bartenders are always on their game and the drinks are always good and cheap. You meet some wonderful locals here as well. Great dance floor in back.” - ritterups

Bar Centrale

Bar Centrale

Bar Centrale is located near the theater district at 324 W. 46th Street. Open 5pm – 11:30pm Tuesday to Saturday and 5:00pm to 11:30pm Sunday and Monday. This speakeasy-style bar is located in a converted brownstone and is popular with theater lovers as well as Broadway stars.

“What a hidden gem. Literally. No clue this place existed on restaurant row!!!... Just stopped in for pre dinner drinks and the interior is lovely, soft and welcoming.” – Julie T.


Dim Sum Palace

Dim Sum Palace

Dim Sum Palace is a Chinese restaurant located at 334 W. 46th Street. Open 11:30am – 1:30am Monday to Friday and 10:30am – 1:30am Saturday and Sunday. Their Cantonese-inspired cuisine is perfect for a pre or post show bite, and the space can be rented out for private events.

“This place has a good selection of dimsum available. The duck is a plus! If you are around Times Square / Broadway area and have a craving for dimsum, this place will not disappoint.” – Ron R.

Chai is a Chinese restaurant located at 353 W. 46th Street, open 12pm – 11pm Sunday to Thursday and 12pm – 11:30pm Friday and Saturday. Guests rave about the authentic Beijing cuisine and their classic and original cocktails.

Le Rivage

Le Rivage is a French restaurant located at 340 W. 46th Street; open from 11:30am - 11pm Sunday and Tuesday - Thursday, 11:30am – 12am Friday and Saturday, and from 3:30pm – 11pm Monday. They specialize in classic French dishes and feature live music. Eat in the cozy, romantic space indoors or on their outdoor patio.

“This is my favorite pre-theatre restaurant by far. The prix fixe is so varied and there are so many excellent choices. The food is delicious and portions are great. Drinks are pretty good, and desserts delectable.” – C J.

S'Aimer Restaurant


S’Aimer is a French restaurant located at 338 W. 46th Street, open 5pm – 12:30am Tuesday - Sunday and closed Monday. They feature French-Caribbean fusion with an upscale lounge feel and also have live music.

Their menu includes brunch, a lunch prix fixe, dinner, and happy hour. They serve pasta, pizza, meat, and seafood, as well as Sicilian street food.

“Sicily Osteria is one of the best Italian Food Restaurant's I have tried in New York City… The pasta was incredible, and the steak was the best I have had in any restaurant... The staff and servers were exceptional.” – Derrick G.


Lattanzi Cucina Italiana

Lattanzi Cucina Italiana is an Italian restaurant located at 361 W. 46th Street. They open for lunch Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday, and dinner Monday-Sunday. Enjoy their authentic cuisine in the patio garden or heated outdoor terrace.

Becco is an Italian restaurant owned by Lidia Bastianich and her son, Joe Bastianich, located at 355 W. 46th Street. Open for lunch Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday, for dinner Tuesday – Sunday, and closed Monday. They have several rooms for special events and are known for their pasta tasting menu and wine list.

Barbetta, established in 1906, is an Italian restaurant located at 321 W. 46th Street. Open 4:30pm – 11pm Tuesday – Saturday, 12pm – 2pm Wednesday and Saturday, and closed Sunday and Monday. With over 1,700 wines and a pre-theatre dinner menu, this is the perfect space for the theater crowd.

Open 12pm – 3:45pm and 4:45pm – 10:45pm Monday – Thursday, 12pm – 3:45pm and 4:45pm – 11:30pm Friday, 12pm – 11:30pm Saturday, and 12pm – 10:45pm Sunday. The large variety of meals includes curries, noodles, duck, beef, and vegetable dishes, you can order online, and they also offer a happy hour.
